VERSE NUMBER 14 OF ARJUNA VISHADA YOGA.

VERSE NUMBER 14
IN TRANSLITERATION:
Tatah svetair hayair yukte
Mahati syandane sthitau
Maadhavah paanndavas chai vva
Divyau sankhau pradadhmatuh
TEXT IN ENGLISH:
THEN, SEATED AS MAADHAVA AND PANDAVA WERE IN THEIR MAGNIFICENT CHARIOT YOKED TO WHITE STEEDS, THEY GRACEFULLY BLEW THEIR DIVINE CONCHES.
Comments:
According to Dr. Radhakrishnan, the chariot stands for the psychological vehicle and the steeds are the senses. The reins are their controls, but the charioteer, the guide is the spirit or soul or atman. Krishna, the charioteer is the spirit in us.
According to Swami Chidbhvananda of Thirupparaithurai in Thiruchirappalli district, calling Sri Krishna in one of His auspicious names, Maadhava, has its own significance. That Maa stands for Lakshmi and Madhava meaning the Spouse of Lakshmi, who is the Goddess of wealth, Sanjaya is of the opinion that the Goddess of wealth is going to shower Her bounties on the Pandavas through the victory in the Kurutchethra war!

The conches they blow are described as the divine ones or the celestial ones. There is a lore that Nara and Narayana , the two celestial beings incarnated as Arjuna and Krishna.
