VERSE 28 OF ARJUNA VISHADA YOGA

VERSE NUMBER 28:
Text in Transliteration:
Arjuna uvaach
Drstve ‘mam svajanm krshna yuyutsoom samupasthitam
Seedanti mama gaatraani mukjam cha parisusyati
Text in English:
Arjuna said:
Seeing these my kinsmen, collected here prompted by war, my limbs fail me, O Krishna, and my mouth is parched up.
Here Arjuna calls the Lord and his friend as Krishna. This kind of address has its own significance, according to  Swamy Chidbhvanada of Thirupparaithurai.
The word Krishna has three significant meanings:-
1 He who is dark blue in colour indicating his infinitude.
2 Krish means existence, and na means bliss. He sho is  existence-knowledge-bliss is Krishna.
3 He who saves the devotees from distress.

Arjuna himself says that his limbs fail him and his mouth is parched up. His present state is because of his mentality towards HIS KINSMEN.He , in this state is driven almost mad. His limbs fail him. He cannot take the battle into the Duriyodhana’s crowd like his wont. He has shaky lims. And his mouth is parched, a sure condition of human system when one gets into such state. And he submits to the Lord as Krishna with significance. Because Krishna, who is exiztance-knowledge-bliss with a tendency to save His devotees from distress , can come to his help. All the worldly wealth he had amassed cannot be of any avail when a soul goes through such a stress; it is sri Krishna alone who could bring succour to his devotees , when they know how to submit their distressed condition of mind to Him and seek salvation.
